NuVasive Spine Foundation Hosts The 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament!

In August, the NuVasive Spine Foundation (NSF) held the 11th Annual NSF Charity Golf Tournament, its largest fundraiser of the year that supports the foundation’s mission trip work to bring life-changing spine surgery to children and adults. The competition was fierce with more than 130 players from around the world teeing off at The Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe golf course.

Golfers fueled up with breakfast, took a couple of practice swings at the driving range, and were welcomed by Greg Lucier, Chairman and CEO of NuVasive. Thanks to the generous donations from NuVasive vendors and suppliers, as well as support from more than 40 Shareowner volunteers, NSF raised nearly $400,000 to fund its 2019 mission trip work!

The event brought together all types of players, from those who golf every weekend to those who had never played 18-holes before the tournament, spirits were high, and everyone was excited to support a great cause!

Since its inception in 2009, the NSF has been focused on providing life-changing spine surgery to individuals around the world with limited access to high quality medical treatment. NSF works together with committed surgeons to develop sustainable spine treatment programs and advance the quality of spine care in disadvantaged communities. The team maintains their core belief to leverage their expertise in spine care to give back to local and global communities. NSF is extremely grateful for the amazing support of volunteers to further their mission to bring a second-chance at life to so many patients around the world.
