We love showing off the great work we do here at NuVasive and we recently got to share our expertise with Dot-to-Dot Academy at our San Diego headquarters. The students got to witness first-hand the work being done here to transform spine surgery and beyond.
The elementary school students had the opportunity to meet Cheetah, our NuVasive mascot, and see our Surgeon Events team recreate one of our innovative lateral procedures on Cheetah. The students also got to take part in some fun spine activities, including creating their own homemade spine out of tortellini pasta.
Education and training is critical to our success and we were thrilled at the chance to share that with students from our local community.
